London-headquartered PLP Architecture, the firm behind the ongoing redevelopment of Clifford Centre into The Clifford, has promoted five new partners and six new directors. The architecture and urbanism practice has also unveiled a new visual identity and website.
Founded in 2009, PLP Architecture is now formed of over 150 architects, designers, planners and research analysts of 37 different nationalities.
PLP Architecture marked its maiden foray into Singapore with Park Nova, the ultra-luxury residential development unveiled by Hong Kong’s Shun Tak Holdings in 2021.
Among the six new partners is Tina Qiu, who leads the practice’s Southeast Asia and China operations. Qiu spoke to City & Country in March about the firm’s work on The Clifford, which she is leading.
In London, Qiu has delivered a number of schemes, including 27 Savile Row in Westminster, the conversion of 425 Oxford Street and the luxury office redevelopment of 75-77 Brook Street in Mayfair for Clivedale London.

Since starting with one employee here in 2022, PLP Architecture has grown to a team of six in Singapore.
Lee Polisano, PLP Architecture’s co-founder and president, told City & Country in March that the firm’s Singapore team could grow to 12 pax before the end of 2026. “And then even more, hopefully by the end of 2027, as we really have taken the decision to build a Southeast Asian hub here in Singapore.”

The other new partners are HaenSuk Yi, who drives design and delivery across PLP Architecture’s growing Korea portfolio; Su Cully, partner for strategy and a key figure within PLP Labs, the practice’s dedicated research and strategy consultancy arm; Marta Gonzalez-Ruiz, responsible for leading the practice's masterplanning and mixed-use work; and Andrew Tsang, a project director.
These promotions are accompanied by the appointment of six new directors: Eleftheria Varda, Mariangeles Fernandez, Roberto Caputo and Ryan Kingsnorth across project delivery; alongside Paul Tupper as head of graphics and Rae Borden as head of business development.
In an April 17 announcement, Polisano says: “We have greatly evolved since we first established PLP Architecture’s London studio in 2009. We are now a global practice, providing creative, design-led astute services to clients worldwide and our brand needed to reflect this. Our new visual identity is not a reinvention but an alignment and a reflection of who we are today and a celebration of the team’s achievements.”
The relationship between PLP Architecture and the UOL Group stretches back more than a decade, when the Singapore-listed developer engaged the architecture firm for One Bishopsgate Plaza, a 42-storey integrated development that houses the first Pan Pacific hotel in the UK and the 160-unit The Sky Residences luxury apartments.
Pan Pacific London opened in September 2021. The Pan Pacific Hotels Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of UOL.
Singapore Land (SingLand) is UOL’s 50.37%-owned subsidiary. SingLand owns The Clifford and the Singapore Land Tower located across Raffles Place Park.
As announced in December 2025, SingLand is leading the redevelopment of the Marina Square complex. It plans to create “Singapore’s first hyper-mixed development” by adding a residential tower, a serviced apartment block and a mixed-use tower.
The Marina Square complex comprises Marina Square shopping mall and three hotels: Pan Pacific Singapore, Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay and Mandarin Oriental. The total site area stretches over some 92,197.3 sqm.
Given PLP Architecture’s existing relationship with SingLand, the market expects the firm to be involved in the redevelopment of the Marina Square complex. While both Polisano and Qiu have declined to comment, SingLand has promised further updates within 1H2026.
