CBRE-owned flexible workspace operator Industrious is unifying its Asia-Pacific (Apac) locations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Sydney under its own brand from July 1.
The move brings Apac locations, previously operating as The Great Room, under one name for the first time since Industrious acquired The Great Room in May 2022.
Since CBRE’s full acquisition of Industrious in 2025, the company has grown its global portfolio by 58% and plans to open more than 60 new locations this year.
Apac is central to Industrious’ next chapter, says the company in a June 17 announcement. The company plans to grow by over 50% in Apac over the next 12 months, including the opening of three new locations in Singapore alone this year.
Industrious now operates over 250 flexible workspaces across more than 80 cities. The company is “in a period of significant growth”, and this rebrand reflects that momentum, says Gentry Long, president of Industrious. “Establishing a single global brand unifies our team and members around the core values that have always defined us: premium hospitality, beautiful design and a true sense of belonging.”
Su Anne Mi, managing director, Industrious Apac and co-founder of The Great Room, says the two brands “share the same belief that work should feel human”. “That philosophy is what defined The Great Room across Apac, and it carries forward under the Industrious brand. Being part of a truly global network amplifies what we can offer our members and partners, and we’re excited about what that means for the region."

The Great Room by Industrious previously announced that its 20,714 sq ft Keppel South Central location will open in June. This will be followed by a 36,570 sq ft space at Shaw Tower and a 29,620 sq ft space at Stamford Place.
In total, Industrious will operate 10 locations across Singapore by the end of the year.
Outside of Singapore, The Great Room first expanded into Bangkok with a location in Gaysorn Tower in June 2018. It then ventured into Hong Kong with One Taikoo Place in Quarry Bay in April 2019.
Following Industrious’ acquisition in May 2022, The Great Room by Industrious opened the first of two floors at Park Silom in Bangkok in August 2023 and entered Sydney with Castlereagh Street in February 2024 and One O’Connell Street in July 2025.
