Equinix has signed a third solar power purchase agreement (PPA) in Singapore, deepening its commitment to the city-state’s clean-energy transition as demand for data centre capacity intensifies.

The latest 20-year contract is with ESR-TEPCO Singapore AssetCo Alpha, a special purpose vehicle set up by real-asset manager ESR and Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings.

It will supply more than 10 megawatt-peak (MWp) of rooftop solar capacity from commercial and industrial sites across the island, with flexibility to expand in future. Power delivery is slated to begin in 2026.
