The accolade recognises Huawei’s contributions to the DfL movement through its Tech4City initiatives. Huawei’s Tech4City initiative is a comprehensive programme that aims to bring technology for care, inclusion, talent, and youth– a framework designed to focus on the key pillars of the nation's future, and encourage everyone to contribute to a more purposeful and meaningful success by helping others with technologies.
Huawei has been recognised for its efforts in championing Singapore’s Digital for Life (DfL) movement, which aims to help Singaporeans embrace digital as a lifelong pursuit and enrich their lives through digital technology.
The award was presented by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, patron of the DfL movement, to Maxi Wang, CEO of Huawei International, during an appreciation event organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).
