Cosco Shipping International (Cosco), through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cogent Jurong Island, broke ground today for its Jurong Island Logistics Hub Phase 2 (JILH).

First announced on Nov 29, the strategic initiative aims to address the growing demand for specialised logistics services serving the petrochemical and chemical sectors in Jurong Island, 

The facility will be built on Tembusu Crescent on the island, with the 25,000 sqm (269,097.76 sq ft) plot of land leased for 30 years by JTC Corporation.
