Singapore-based crypto mining platform Bitdeer Technologies Group announces that it has become the preferred cloud service provider (CSP) in the Nvidia partner network, to provide AI computing power for Asia.
Bitdeer will launch Bitdeer AI (artificial intelligence) Cloud, in what it says is among the first cloud services powered by Nvidia’s hardware and software systems for enterprises to build their AI capabilities on.
This will provide its customers with access to Nvidia’s AI supercomputing and accelerate the development of generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and other AI workloads.
Bitdeer is a spinoff from Bitmain, the world’s largest computer chip company for bitcoin mining founded by crypto billionaire Jihan Wu. Wu also co-founded crypto financial services startup Matrixport in 2019.
The company says that its ultimate goal is to provide a high-performance foundation from which it can execute complex AI workloads, leveraging graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud infrastructure to create an adaptable and dynamic platform. It expects to launch its cloud service platform in the first quarter of 2024.
