Global Bank BNP Paribas has appointed Jen-Thai Ewe as its new head of client development for security services in Southeast Asia.

Based in Singapore, Ewe is responsible for securities services sales, client relationship management and client services across the region.

He will drive the bank’s expansion plans in the securities services industry, including global custody, fund administration and other post-trade services across all client segments.

Ewe brings 20 years of experience working with clients across multiple sectors. His prior experience includes senior client management, client solutions and operations roles at HSBC since 2018 and State Street, where he worked for 11 years.

BNP Paribas head of securities services Southeast Asia Diana Senanayake said Ewe’s strong connections to the market and experience across multiple client segments, as well as his in-depth knowledge of securities services operations will be invaluable to his new role.
