Former manpower minister Lim Swee Say is set to join real estate developer Ho Bee Land as a non-executive independent director from Oct 1.
He will also be a member of Ho Bee Land’s audit & risk and nominating committees.
Lim’s appointment comes months after he was named an independent director at Singtel in June.

Lim had joined the Labour Movement in 1996 and entered politics in 1997. Some of the other appointments he took on include being Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology, Minister for Environment and Second Minister for National Development.
The 66-year-old served as Singapore's manpower minister between 2015 to 2018. Prior to that he concurrently served as the minister in the prime minister's office and secretary general of NTUC from 2007 to 2015.
Lim stepped down from the cabinet in May 2018 and served as a member of parliament before retiring from politics in 2020.
Shares of Ho Bee Land closed flat at $2.82 on Sep 30, before the announcement.
