Temasek has announced the appointment of Wendy Koh as chief financial officer-designate, effective Aug 1. Koh will assume the role of Temasek’s chief financial officer (CFO) on Oct 1.
Koh joins Temasek from the unlisted Mapletree Investments, where she is currently group CFO.
Png Chin Yee will relinquish her role as Temasek’s CFO from Oct 1, close to four years after her appointment in January 2023. In her concurrent role as president of Temasek Singapore, she oversees Temasek’s Singapore-based portfolio companies, working to strengthen performance, drive value creation and deliver sustainable long-term returns across the portfolio.
Koh brings over three decades of experience across finance, capital markets, and corporate strategy. She is currently a non-executive director of Mapletree Logistics Trust Management, Mapletree Industrial Trust Management and MPACT Management.
She also serves as the chairman of the Singapore Management University (SMU) advisory board for its real estate programme.
Prior to this, she was Mapletree Investments’ regional chief executive officer, Southeast Asia. She was previously engaged by Mapletree as an adviser and was involved in the formulation of Mapletree’s second five-year plan.
