TrickleStar Limited has named Tan Lay Suan Judy as its new non-executive independent director.
Tan was said to be selected based on her “extensive experience in sales and marketing, and public relations”.
“The board has approved her appointment recommended by the nominating committee, considering her skillset aligns with TrickleStar’s strategic direction and add complementary strengths to the existing board composition,” read TrickleStar’s filing on Feb 2.
Tan’s appointment follows her recent resignation as independent director of Green Build Technology on Jan 31. Tan was appointed to the role on Oct 31, 2023.
According to Green Build Technology’s filing, Tan resigned due to increased work commitments as well as increased family responsibilities. She added that she was no longer able to commit sufficient time to the company.
Shares in TrickleStar closed flat at 3.1 cents on Feb 2.
