Popmart’s collectible “Labubu” has dethroned “Taylor Swift” to rise to fifth place among Carousell’s top searches for the year, and on average Singaporean users earned $2,000 selling secondhand items. This is according to Carousell’s first “Year-in-Secondhand” insights, published on Nov 26.

According to the secondhand marketplace, the five most common searches by Carousell’s Singapore users this year were “Rolex”, “chair”, “iPhone”, “free” and “Labubu”.

Between Jan 1 and Oct 31, the search for chairs rose 52 spots to become the second most-searched item, overtaking iPhones.
