A national movement, Green 100, brings together large enterprises, or “queen bees”, who will each encourage and mobilise 100 SMEs within their supply chains and business networks to start sustainability reporting and capability-building. This approach can encourage large companies to strengthen sustainability engagement across their value chains and enable their SME partners to enhance their environmental competitiveness and resilience.
SMEs can now take their first steps in sustainability reporting at no cost by completing a simplified disclosure that takes approximately 10 minutes, under the newly launched Green 100 initiative.
Announced on May 21 during Ecosperity Week by Singapore’s ambassador for climate action, Ravi Menon, Green 100 will enable firms to embark on their sustainability journey and seize green opportunities by providing a simple and accessible pathway to participate.
