Get your bellies ready for the number one restaurant from Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2023 – Le Du from Bangkok, as it lands in Singapore for a two-week residency programme. Led by chef-patron ThiTid Tassanakahjohn (Chef Ton), the award-winning brigade of 26 chefs from the esteemed contemporary Thai restaurant will head up the two-week showcase while its Bangkok restaurant closes for renovation this November.

This event that will be held at the newly transformed Mandarin Oriental is brought to you by the culinary arm of Mandala Club, Mandala Masters and supported by VP Bank. This will be the first major gastronomy pop-up since Mandarin Oriental’s reopening in September this year.

From Nov 1-12, Le Du’s 26-chef team will relocate to Singapore for the two-week pop-up event, where Chef Ton will present his creative interpretation of Thai flavour profiles with most ingredients sourced locally in Thailand in support of local farmers and sustainability initiatives.

Guests can indulge in a full Le Du fine dining experience during the Mandala Masters residency with a tasting menu from the Bangkok restaurant team, complete with non-alcohol, cocktail and wine pairing options available for a complete gastronomic journey.

Le Du’s residency menu will showcase Chef Ton’s creative twist on presentation while retaining Thai flavours in his innovative cuisine. Highlights include his signatures Prawn, Beetroot and Chili; Lobster with Shrimp Paste and Jor-Rang Curry as well as three brand-new dishes Chef Ton specially creates as a preview to Le Du’s new menu in Bangkok, such as Squid with Scallion and Salted Duck Egg; Amadai, Cauliflower and Issan Herbs; and Japanese wagyu and Spicy Northeastern style sauce, complete with Coconut and Palm Sugar dessert to round up the event menu.

Exclusive to the residency, embark on an exceptional culinary journey with Le Du dinner for two with wine pairing and two nights stay at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore Marina Bay Room starting from $2,650++ or Marina Bay Suites starting from $3,700++. The exclusive package can be purchased through: https://www.mandarinoriental.com/en/singapore/marina-bay/offers.
