Montblanc, together with UNICEF, aims to bring quality education to less fortunate children

We may be taking our education for granted while children in other parts of the world are too poor to even afford to read and write. It is on this premise that Montblanc has partnered UNICEF to help thousands of children gain access to quality education.

To do this, Montblanc has released a limited edition of writing instruments, timepieces, leather goods and accessories for the UNICEF Writing is a Gift programme. What better way to raise awareness among the public than by holding an event at the Marina Bay Sands’ Montblanc boutique, on May 18.

Adding to the glamour of the evening, friends of the brand Jeanette Aw and Diana Ser joined former UNICEF officer Peggy Kek and Montblanc president for Southeast Asia, Matthieu Dupont, in welcoming the media and guests.

Guests were introduced to the special Montblanc collection. The pieces showcased were the Meisterstück writing instrument, which has an alphabet-inspired design to celebrate the preciousness of writing; large and small leather goods; and new editions of the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum timepieces. Proceeds from the sale of these items will go towards giving less fortunate children quality education.
